DIET DURING BREASTFEEDING:
1)There are certain vitamins as well as foods you have to keep up with in larger amounts. There are many books offered through your local library, bookstore or info on the web. Never diet to reduce weight during breastfeeding or take weight reduction pills!! Everything that passes through you goes straight to your baby when you breastfeed.
2) Avoid alcohol, aspirin, caffeine and nicotine.
3) Continue to moisturize your nipples and avoid drying soaps or sun exposure if at all possible.
I was not able to breastfeed my child as long as I would have liked to but, I’ll always cherish those few short months I did.
