A very golden oldie

This book -- if you can find it, is a gem. The advice he offers is good today as it was 30 years ago. In fact, today's kids could learn alot about "green" recycling of used items just by reading a couple of chapters.
The book also applies to new retiress -- teaching them some new tricks, perhaps, to stretch their income.
Still stands the test of time.

I've owned three copies of this book--two of them loaned out and never returned, and one presented as a gift to a couple starting out.
Even as it approaches its 30th anniversary, HTLCbG still contains a wealth of good information on frugal living, from rents and furnishings, to eats and moving.
